Introduction
Informative Society For Development Initiatives (ISDI) is a non-government organization working for professional development among artisans and other sections of society in the region.
- ISDI was formed under the Societies Registration Act 1860 to create and implement development projects for various community needs.
- The organization works with different governmental schemes and projects to address economic backwardness and support the weaver community and other underprivileged groups.
- ISDI aims to uplift traditional handicrafts and promote professional development among artisans and other marginalized communities.
- ISDI encourages the organization of workshops and exhibitions to showcase the work of artisans.
- ISDI also organizes support initiatives such as workshops for orphans and programs for old age homes, fostering care, skill development, and community integration for vulnerable groups.
